There are a few things you need to know before traveling to Africa. We will supply a complete list, however here are the most important: 

PASSPORT
You should have a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity since the date of entrance in Morocco. 

VACINATION
The essential and most common vaccines for travel by Africa are: typhoid fever, yellow fever, meningitis and malaria.

INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS LICENCE
We advise all drivers to take with them an International Driver's License.

PHARMACY
When we go travel whe usualy take those tipical medicins, this journey is not exception.  You have to think in advance: what can go wrong with me? and take a complete pharmacy.  Pills for diarreias, drops for the eyes and sun protector are indispensable.  Insect repellent is also essential.  We'll provide a more detailed list. 

CAMPING
There will be two nights of camping, so you'll need a tent, flashlight and a sleeping bag.

  
PROVISIONS
There will be some the days you won't find a restaurant because there aren't any in the desert :-)
By that should go cautious with the essential for light meals during the day.  There are in the market practical solutions if you dont want carrying a stone and .....but of course you are free to take whatever you want. 

CLOTHING
We advise to take light cotton. Regarding to footwear you should avoid sandals and take comfortable tennis shoes.  A hat or cap and dark sunglasses also should be part of your lugage. 

EQUIPMENT
Taking a GPS is very important. The GPS lets you know your location and decide what direction to take. You'll also need 2 spare tires and 2 or 3 fuel  jerrycans.

MONEY
There aren't many ATMs in Africa, namely in the Mauritania and Senegal.  In Morocco is easy finding ATMs in the north, but in south they are rare, so carry some money with you.
